My practice is a general forensic psychology practice that links the scholarly foundations of forensic psychology with practice. I have authored or edited eleven books and 200 scholarly articles, most in the application of psychological practice and knowledge to the law and legal issues. In criminal issues, my practices includes assessment of competency to stand trial, other criminal competencies, mental state at time of offense, responsivity to treatment, and mitigation evaluations. In civil litigation, my practice includes evaluations of plaintiffs for emotional impairments. In both areas, psychological consultation, including jury selection and change of venue evaluations, are conducted. |
